How did you get started in the Hair industry?
I always loved all things beauty and my high school was offering a Cosmetology program as a way to receive elective credits during your senior year and I thought what a fun opportunity! Beyond grateful that lead me to discover my true passion at an early age 🤍

Treat your hair-care regimen like skin-care! Consistently using high quality products will make the world of a difference on your hair.
Do you have any tips for artists starting out in the industry?
1. Find a good mentor to assist for, someone who will not only help you build your skills but help teach you the pathway to success in this industry.
2. Practice being the best at what you do. The cosmetology industry is extremely saturated so a strong drive to promote yourself and working hard to perfect your craft are what will set you apart from the rest.
3. You are your own walking advertisement! If you want people to trust you with their hair, make sure yours is always looking it’s best 🤍
What do you do to feel more inspired?
I keep educating myself on new things. Whether it’s ways to improve myself as a salon owner, or ways to improve my skillset as a stylist. Feeling growth is what fuels me 🤍

“Whenever you feel discouraged, just remember how far you’ve come.”
What’s been your proudest moment in the industry?
Getting the keys to my new salon space where I can now build Lush Salon into everything I’ve always dreamed of it being 🤍
What would be your career path in another life?
Something that involves working with animals and helping them
